Its role is to improve the way that public bodies and communities work together.  The LSB does this by providing collective leadership on the issues of most importance to the citizens of the County.

This includes:

• Ensuring the best use of the resources available to the partners to improve outcomes for citizens
• Dealing effectively with issues that require a cross-agency response
• Leading on the development and delivery of key Strategic frameworks for the area
