Local Service Board Stakeholder Conference

Over 60 people attanded The Stakeholder Conference at Chepstow Racecource on 22 May.  The event looked at the role of the LSB as well as the Community Strategy.

Community Strategy Consultation Closed

The formal consultation exercise on the Community Strategy for Monmouthshire 2008-11 has now closed.  The strategy is in the process of being re-written.  However we are always interested in what citizens have to say so please e-mail improvement@monmouthshire.gov.uk with any comments you have about the strategy.  A copy of the draft strategy can be downloaded here.Community Strategy 2008-11 (consultation version)

Independent Chair appointed to LSB

Monmouthshire has become the first Local Service Board in Wales to appoint an independent chair from amongst its citizens.  The appointment of was confirmed in March following an open recruitment process.
