External auditors Price WaterHouse Cooper have concluded their audit review of the Abergavenny regeneration scheme. Their key conclusions are that;

  • Appropriate project management arrangements have been put in place by the Council as the
    scheme has progressed;
  • The Council has adopted appropriate procurement procedures in appointing a preferred
    developer; and
  • Maintenance of sound financial management arrangements is vital to a successful outcome of
    the scheme.

Price Waterhouse Cooper have thanked both officers and members for their willing help and support during the course of their review.
