Waste  - have your say

Thank you to all of you who completed our questionnaire.  We are currently analysing all your replies and will post the results onto this page soon.

Just what is the best way to dispose of our waste?

That's a question that we have asked people who live and work in Monmouthshire during the last few months.

Every year in Wales we dump thousands of tonnes of rubbish into landfill sites, and it cannot go on. Dumping our rubbish into holes in the ground has a terrible result on our environment, but also new legislation is coming that will force local councils to change the way they deal with rubbish.

Your ideas will be used to make a plan for a waste and recycling service in Monmouthshire that will safeguard the future of our planet.
