The Recycling Team visits schools, setting up recycling based projects and raising awareness  of pupils and teachers alike.

One of our annual projects is the Yellow Woods Recycling Challenge Primary schools from all over the County compete to collect as many old Yellow Pages as possible for recycling and prizes are awarded for the best performing schools.

Most of the schools in the County are now serviced by the black box and green waste/cardboard collections. Also, twenty eight schools are working towards Eco-school status.
