Environmental Health ensure the safety of food at all stages of production from storage to distribution and sale. Food safety is a major health issue and we have powers to ensure that food premises and foods handlers comply with legal requirements.
We visit food premises and advise managers on hygiene and safety matters. We also take food samples and investigate food complaints referred to us by members of the public |
