The Monnow Valley Walk - (Official Route Guide)

Stretching from the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the Brecon Beacons National Park


60 page A5 spiral bound guide booklet to this 65km walk from Monmouth following the northern border of the County before continuing up the Olchon Valley of Herefordshire to Hay-on-Wye.  The route is a linking series of circular walks that also joins the Offa's Dyke Path at both ends, making for a multitude of route options.  Independant production published by Eira and Harry Steggles in the same style as the County Council guides.   £4-95.

Wye Valley Walk - Official Route Guide


44 page A5 spiral bound laminated booklet describing 218 km route between Chepstow and Plynlimon, north of Rhayader, passing through some of the finest countryside in England and Wales. Offa's Dyke Path National Trail

A range of official and independant guides produced since the opening of this 182 mile Path in 1971.
Most are less than A5 in size and are glue or stich bound at the spine.
The route extends through the Gloucestershire part of the Wye Valley from near Chepstow to Redbrook.  Then through Monmouthshire to Monmouth and extending NW across rolling farmland to the Brecon Beacons National Park at Pandy and a ridgetop route across the Black Mountains towards Hay-on-Wye.
