images The Countryside Service has published a new guide to assist members of the public, landowners, path users and others to understand the policy and protocols which apply to public rights of way.

Printed copies of the guide are also available at the One Stop Shops or from County Hall.  Please contact us if you have any difficulties obtaining a copy or have any related queries.

The guide applies to those public rights of way solely managed by Monmouthshire County Council.  It does not yet completely apply to those 500km of paths in Monmouthshire, which fall within the Brecon Beacons National Park and are managed by the Park Authority.
