What is Local Landscapes?

Local Landscapes - Tirlun Lleol is an initiative of Monmouthshire County Council with support from the Countryside Council for Wales.  It is a method that community groups can use to look at their local landscape, decide what makes it special, and then begin one or more projects to celebrate or conserve those special qualities.  A toolkit has been produced to help local communities to do this, and you can download this and other information from the Local Landscapes - Tirlun Lleol website.
