Part C Planning Guidance
This provides guidance on the consideration of Biodiversity in the planning process. It has been written for use by developers, development control officers at the Local Planning Authority and others involved in the planning process. Species and Habitat Advice Notes have been written to inform readers about the species and habitats most likely to be encountered during the planning process. This part was written in response to the requirement that Local Biodiversity Action Plans should be adopted as Supplementary Planning Guidance to the Local Authority's Unitary Development Plan. The introduction section of Part C further explains the context of this guidance.
