The cameras were switched on in April 2003 and are being viewed 24 hours a day every day of the year. They are at present being viewed by Caerphilly County Borough Council, who is at present the only authority with the facility to provide this service.
It is hoped that with the introduction of C.C.T.V. cameras within our towns will make our towns a safer place for residents and visitors to Monmouthshire to visit by day and night.
The reporting of any faults on the C.C.T.V. cameras is done through the Street Lighting Section.
