All vehicles contracted by the Authority must meet current legislation in respect of roadworthiness, seatbelts etc.

All drivers and where appropriate escorts must hold a recent enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.

The Authority is currently undertaking a Best Value Review of school transport, which may have an impact on future provision.  As part of the review BUSK (Belt Up School Kids) have been invited to comment as a critical friend.  If you think your child may be eligible for free transport complete an application form.
