OUR AIM
It is our aim to ensure that all pupils can be provided with a healthy, nutritious meal and that vegetarians and those on special diets are also catered for.
Monmouthshire County Council is continuing to work with local suppliers and national manufacturers to provide a healthy, nutritious meal for the young adults of the future.
OUR NEW MENU
Following the completion of our successful Healthy School Meals Pilot Project in eight of our primary schools, we are pleased to announce that a healthy menu is to be rolled out across all primary schools from September 2007.
The new healthy menu is a significant step towards the proposals in the consultation document, ‘Appetite for Life’, which has been approved by the Welsh Assembly Government.
