The Healthy Schools Co-ordinator will provide direct support to schools when planning healthy school actions as well as arranging training events for school staff. The role of Healthy Schools Co-ordinator is also strategic and support will be provided in the development of school policies that have a direct impact on the schools as a health promoting setting.

The Healthy Schools Co-ordinator works in a partnership with various local departments including the Local Public Health Team, Monmouthshire Health Alliance and the School Health Nursing Team.
