Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit can be claimed via the Benefits Agency, Job Centre or Pension Service at the same time as claiming Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance or Pension Credit by completing the relevant sections for housing/council tax benefits.

These forms will then be forwarded to the Council, by staff at the Benefit Agency or Pension Service.

When you complete an application form, you must answer all questions and provide original documentation to support your claim. This includes the last two month's Bank and Building Society statements. Mini statements from cash machines are not acceptable.
