Where can I get Married?
You can be married between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm 7 days a week subject to the agreement of the Ceremonies Manager. A marriage can take place at
- The Register Office Abergavenny
- High Trees Chepstow
- At an Approved Venue (licensed by the Local Authority for civil marriages or civil partnerships)
- At a church or any other religious building

Remember that without the presence of registration officers at an approved premise there can be no civil marriage and the use of the premises depend on the officers availability. Provisional bookings will be accepted by the Superintendent Registrar at any time.
Is there a charge?
In addition to the costs of giving notice of the marriage, an additional fee is payable to the Superintendent Registrar for marriage ceremonies at approved premises.
