Are you a member of a group or club that wants to raise money by supporting the National Eisteddfod?
We are looking for voluntary, community or sporting clubs of any kinds, who are able to run the festival car parks at the Monmouthshire and District National Eisteddfod in Abergavenny from 29 July – 6 August.
The stewards in the car parks are the first contact we have with our visitors, and it is important that we offer a quality service as people get to the Maes. We must provide a courteous, efficient and friendly service in both Welsh and English.
We are inviting any interested organisation to get in touch regarding the project. We are happy for organisations and clubs to work together to provide the service during the week but details of any partnerships must be included as part of your application. All applications must include a project manager.
This year, we have three separate car parks, and will be operating a park and ride system from the car parks to the Maes which is located in Abergavenny. We are looking for teams to staff all three car parks throughout the week.
The Eisteddfod can offer up to £9,000 to the winning bid. All documents will be published on our website, www.eisteddfod.wales/parking-contract-2016, along with more information about what needs to be submitted as part of your application.
The deadline for applications is 8 July, and entries should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Alwyn Roberts by phone on 0845 4090 400, before the closing date.
