Today (30 June) is the last day to buy early bird bargain tickets for the Monmouthshire and District National Eisteddfod.

The offer ends at midnight tonight.

The scheme has been incredibly busy this year, and organisers hope that today will also be a bumper day for ticket sales, as visitors take advantage of the bargains available on tickets to this year’s festival.

Eisteddfod Chief Executive, Elfed Roberts, says, “The bargain tickets have been extremely popular this year, with both the website and the telephone lines busy over the past few weeks.

“We want as many of our visitors as possible to take advantage of the bargain tickets, so remember to order your tickets today, and make sure you don’t miss out.

“There are savings on all our tickets, with a 25% reduction on adult Maes tickets.  Savings are also available on family tickets and season tickets, so make sure you order today to take advantage of all the savings.”

With only a month to go before the first full day of this year’s festival, activity programmes are now available online and information on how to get to the Maes.  Some spaces are still available on the caravan and family campsite, either for the full week or the last four nights.  Go to www.eisteddfod.wales for all the latest information.

The Monmouthshire and District National Eisteddfod is held on Castle Meadows, Abergavenny from 29 July – 6 August.  Tickets available online or by ringing 0845 4090 800.
